My name is Mitten, I am 24. And I am screwed for money. This is a blog to help me get back to black.
Currently I am VERY much in the red.
I have an overdraft of £2000, one student credit card of £500, one platinum credit card of £2000 and £20,000+ of student debt.
I live at home with my dad and his girlfriend. I pay no rent, I have a 20 hour a week job and I am not 100% happy with any of this.
Oh... and I LOVE to shop.
I hope to use this blog to pour out my feelings and frustrations and hopefully successes with money and life.
I freely admit I am incredibly fortunate for what I do have, health and a lovely family and a job I love but I need to sort my money situation out.
My aims are thus:
- Pay off credit cards
- Get out of my overdraft
- MOVE OUT OF HOME
Hopefully my journey will help/inspire others to do the same. If anyone has any advice for me then please share :]
